The most luxurious hotels are found in the coastal resorts. The best hotels are always heavily booked, so advance booking is essential.

Motels are found on most main roads. Prices are set independently according to region, tourist season and the quality of service.

Only available on official sites but there are over 20,000 camping units throughout the country. A permit from the local tourist office is required for off-site camping. A list is available from the National Tourism Organisation. Alpine Club mountain huts are available in all mountain areas.
