Getting There by Air
Kosova Airlines (HHI) (www.kosovaairlines.com) is the national airline.
Approximate Flight Times
From London to Pristina takes 2.5 hours. British Airways has direct flights.
Main Airports
Pristina International Airport (PRN) (www.airportpristina.com) is 18km (11 miles) southwest of Pristina (journey time - 30 minutes). To/from the airport: Buses and taxis are available into Pristina. Facilities: Banks, restaurant, shopping, car hire, post office and ATM.
Departure Tax
€15, often included in the price of the ticket.
Getting There by Road
There are many frontier posts between Serbia and Kosovo, and several to Albania. Delays between Kosovo and Macedonia are commonplace, as the roads are in poor condition.
Note: Leaving Kosovo, you can only enter Serbia if you came from there, since the Serbian authorities don't recognize Kosovar border stamps.
Bus: Connections are available to Pristina from Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Albania.
