From London to Pristina takes 5 hours, with one stop. There are no direct flights from the USA.
Main Airports
Pristina International Airport (PRN) (website: www.airportpristina.com) is 18km (11 miles) southwest of Pristina (journey time - 30 minutes). To/from the airport: Buses and taxis are available into Pristina. Facilities: Banks, restaurant, shopping, car hire, post office and ATM.
Departure Tax
€15, often included in the price of the ticket.
Getting There by Road
There are many frontier posts between Serbia and Kosovo, and several to Albania. Delays between Kosovo and Macedonia are commonplace, as the roads are in poor condition. However, plans were announced in 2008 to build new highway from Pristina to Skopje. There will also be two new border control points between the two territories. No completion date has been given.
