• Experience a sundowner: sip a cool drink, be entertained at a lodge and watch a beautiful sun set into a large, flat expanse.

• Go on a game walk – not for the faint-hearted but an exhilarating experience, getting closer to game.

Climb on the back of an elephant for a safari trek to remember.

• Float along on a mokoro, a traditional vessel of the Okavango Delta, which is a dugout canoe, ideal for mastering those shallow waterways, and expertly poled by the person who stands in the stern.

• Fly over parts of Botswana in a hot-air balloon, and experience the thrill of landing in an open floodplain.

• Experience some of the best sport fishing in Botswana, in the Okavango Delta and Chobe river systems. There is also fishing available from major dams around Shashe, Bokaa and Gaborone.

Cycle alongside elephants, on a mountain bike specially adapted to the terrain, in the Tuli Block.

• Get a bird's eye view (and take some amazing photographs) of the Okavango from a Wildlife helicopter, based in Maun.

• Experience Botswana's culture in Serowe, a historic village with homesteads where visitors can sample traditional cuisine and visit the Royal Burial Grounds; or visit Lobatse with its Livingstone Memorial and the Botswana High Court.
