Passports

Passport valid for at least six months from date of departure required by all nationals referred to in chart above. Travellers must be entitled to return to home country.

Passport Note

A return ticket is necessary for visa-free trips. All visitors must possess sufficient funds to support themselves whilst in the country.

Visas

Required by all nationals referred to in the chart above except the following:
(a) 1. nationals of the United Kingdom holding full British passports, and nationals of the EU  for stays of up to 30 days;
(b) 2. nationals of Australia will be granted a 30 day visa upon arrival.
(c) 3. nationals of Canada for up to 14 days;
(d) 4. nationals of the USA for up to 90 days for social and business visits. Diplomatic and official visitors and ordinary passport holders need a visa if travelling on official business.

Visa Note

Nationals of Israel may not be granted entry to Brunei.

Types of Visa and Cost

Short Visit: £10 (single-entry); £15 (multiple-entry). Cost changes frequently and depends on prevailing exchange rate.

Validity

Single and multiple entry visas are valid for three months. Visas may be extendable in Brunei

Three. Applications which need to be referred to Brunei can take up to two months for processing.
