Getting There by Air
There are regular international flights to Tenerife, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria from all over Europe. La Palma airport receives a limited number of international flights. Local flights run by Binter Canarias (website: www.binternet.com) link all the island and also go to Madeira, Morocco, Western Sahara and Mauritania. Iberia (website: www.iberia.com), Air Europa (website: www.air-europa.com) and Spanair (website: www.spanair.com) also fly between the islands and mainland Spain.

Main Airports
Gran Canaria (LPA) (Gando) is 18km (11 miles) south of Las Palmas. To/from the airport: There are regular direct services from the airport to Las Palmas (Parque San Telmo) and to Maspalomas (Faro de Maspalomas) via Playa del Inglés and San Agustín. Tenerife-Norte Los Rodeos (TFN), in the north of the island, is 11km (7 miles) from Santa Cruz. Day trips to the smaller islands are quickly and easily arranged.
