Hotels
The main cities have moderately priced quality hotels, which must be booked well in advance, especially during the winter months. Smaller hotels are very good value.
Camping/Caravanning
There are only a few official campsites in the country. Tourists are advised to contact the local tourist offices on arrival for further details.
Youth Hostels
There are 16 youth hostels affiliated to the Egyptian Youth Hostels Association, located mainly in large towns, on the coast and in popular tourist regions.
