Hotels
The capital, Asmara, has several good hotels. Similar standard hotels can be found in Massawa and Assab. It is advisable to book in advance. Meals are available in all hotels. There are also hotels and guest houses in smaller towns; prices are, in general, slightly lower than those in the main centres. When making reservations, check for service charges and sales taxes.
