Brecon Jazz Festival
Brecon, United Kingdom07 Aug 2008 - 10 Aug 2008
Brecon is the small market town with the big, world-famous jazz festival. A number of well-known stars have performed here in the past including Welsh opera singer Katherine Jenkins, Van Morrison, Buddy Guy and the Super Furry Animals. This pretty town on the bank of the Usk River comes alive during a long weekend in August, when around 90 concerts take place all over the town. Stroller tickets allow a leisurely perambulation between acts while main concerts are separately ticketed and a free programme of music and entertainment fills the streets.
