Ibiza: still a hot party destination
The island of Ibiza, in the Balearic Islands, has been the Mecca for all-night party for decades and British holidaymakers on budget holidays to Ibiza know how to party in the island!
Ibiza started its party reputation back in the 1960s with hippies from all over Europe going to the island in search for its unique hippie scene and the perfect hideaway. Ibiza was the place to be for hippies, rockers and bohemians alike. But it was the world-famous rock group Pink Floyd that gave the island its reputation of all-night party.
However, it is not all in the past; Ibiza still is a hot party destination and has been for many decades. If you are new to the party scene, this is how to party in Ibiza: start the day with relaxed sunbathing on the beach. Don't forget to do a siesta, as you will later need the energy to stay awake all night.
After your siesta, go for dinner and maybe watch the sunset whilst enjoying a drink in the famous Café Del Mar, located in the resort of San Antonio. It's now time to head to a trendy bar and move on to the clubs to enjoy the night!
It doesn't matter which resort you are staying in as Ibiza is a relatively small island. However, if you really want to be at the heart of the party scene, there are numerous Ibiza holiday packages to party resorts, including San Antonio, Santa Eulalia, Playa d'en Bossa and Ibiza Town, where you will find the island's most famous clubs.
Ibiza has numerous bars and clubs so you will be spoiled for choice. The major clubs are: Space, in the resort of Playa d'en Bossa; Pacha, located in Ibiza Town, opposite the Marina; El Divino, also located in Ibiza Marina; Privilege and Amnesia both located near San Rafael, in the middle of the island; and finally Eden and Es Paradis, both in San Antonio. These clubs are so famous that they attract the world's hottest DJs.
To enjoy the clubbing scene in Ibiza on a budget, take advantage of the many budget holidays available. There are plenty of holiday bargains to Ibiza to choose from!
