Granada's nightlife scene is buzzing around Plaza Nueva and the Calle de Elvira area, at the foot of the Albaicín. Carrera del Darro and Paseo de los Tristes, heading northeast from Plaza Nueva along the narrow Darro valley below the Alhambra, harbour further drinking spots. Don't miss Granada's flamenco scene: away from the more touristic shows, several bars and clubs host authentic flamenco. Many Granada bars also maintain that magnificent tradition of free tapas with your drinks.
