Driving directions:

From central Paris, follow signs to the northbound N1 road, and follow it to the connecting Autoroute du N (A1). The A1 merges onto the E15, which has a dedicated junction for the airport. Follow signs to the terminals. The total drive time to the airport from central Paris is approximately 45 minutes.

Transfer between terminals:

Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are linked by the CDGVAL airport Métro line. Shuttles operate between the various parts of Terminal 2 and the long stay car park, as well as to the more distant Terminal 2G.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus: Local buses 350 and 351 connect central Paris to the airport (journey time: 70 minutes; fare: €6). Roissybus (www.ratp.fr) serves all three terminals and runs to Place de l'Opéra for the Paris Métro (journey time: 45-60 minutes; fare: €11). The Noctilien night service has three routes linking the airport with various destinations in Paris (and vice versa) between 0100 and 0400 (journey time: 30 minutes; fare: €8).

Shuttle: The Val d'Europe Airports shuttle (VEA) operates services between Paris hotels, Disneyland and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (fare: €23).

Coach: Air France coaches (tel: +33 1 64 02 50 14; www.lebusdirect.com) depart from terminals 1 and 2 to a range of central city destinations including, Montparnasse and Gare de Lyon. They also provide connections to Paris-Orly Airport, from terminals 1 and 2.

Taxi: A taxi to the city centre will take around 45 minutes. Taxi companies include Alpha Taxis (tel: +01 49 69 63 55), Les Taxis Bleus (tel: +33 1 4152 5425), Taxis G7 (tel: +331 41 27 66 99). The average fare to central Paris is around €50-60, depending on the time of day and traffic conditions.

Public transport rail:

Rail: RER trains (www.ratp.fr) serve the airport in conjunction with ADP shuttles. Line B runs from Terminal 1 and from the TGV station at Terminal 2 to Gare du Nord, Châtelet-les-Halles, St Michel, Luxembourg, Port Royal and Denfert-Rochereau, with connections to the Métro. The journey time to Gare du Nord is about 40 minutes, and the fare is €9.75.

Terminal facilities

Money:

There are bureaux de change and at least one ATM in each of the three terminals. A bank branch is located in the train station between terminals 2D and 2F.

Food:

There is a wide choice of bars, cafés and restaurants at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, serving French and international cuisine in all terminals.

Shopping:

There is a good selection of shops of all types in all three terminals, including duty-free shopping and VAT refunds for passengers leaving the EU.

Luggage:

Lost property offices (tel: +33 1 7036 3950) are found throughout the terminal. It's also possible to report missing items via a form on the airport's website. Luggage storage services (tel: +33 1 48 16 02 15) are also available at the airport starting from €3.

Other:

Prayer rooms are available. Medical, massage and beauty services are available in terminals 1 and 2. Children’s play areas can be found in Terminal 2.

Airport facilities

Conference and business:

There are work areas in terminals 1 and 2 where travellers can also recharge their electronic equipment. Conference and meeting facilities are available at the larger hotels close to and in the terminals – the nearest is the Sheraton Paris Airport Hotel & Conference Centre (tel: +33 1 4919 7070; www.marriot.com), within Terminal 2.

Communication Facilities:

Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout Charles de Gaulle Airport (along with a paid-for premium service offering faster connection speeds). Post offices can be found in terminals 1 and 2, and mobile phone rental is available.

Disabled facilities:

Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport has excellent facilities for disabled travellers, who should inform their airline in advance of their needs. Information desks also offer a special welcome service for disabled passengers. Lifts and ramps connect all floors and reserved car parking spaces are provided in designated areas; discount on parking rates is available on presentation of a valid disability badge.

Car parking:

Each terminal has its own short-term covered car park with direct access to the terminal by lift. The long-term car park PR is for Terminal 1, and car park PX is for Terminals 2 and 3; all are linked by a free airport shuttle bus.
