Driving directions:

Venice Marco Polo Airport is 15 minutes from the Venice/Mestre A57 motorway exit. If arriving from Venice, take Ponte della Libertà westwards and turn onto the northbound SS14 road towards Trieste. From here, follow signs for the airport.

Transfer between terminals:

A free shuttle runs between the terminal, the docks (for water taxis) and various car parks.

Bus:There are scheduled ACTV bus services to Padua, Mestre and Venice (tel: +39 04 1272 2111; www.actv.it). Bus 5 runs to Piazzale Roma square in the city (journey time: 20 minutes; fare: €8). Public transport rail:

Rail:Venice-Mestre railway station (www.rfi.it) is connected to the airport by the ATVO Fly Bus (tel: +39 04 215 944; www.atvo.it) and the ACTV bus 15 (tel: +39 04 1272 2111; www.actv.it). Trains connect to numerous destinations in Italy and further afield.
