Driving directions:

The airport is signposted from the city centre. Follow Lenina road southwest from central Nizhny Novgorod, turning left onto Vedenyapina, then right onto Yuzhnoye. This road then becomes Arkadiya Gaydara, and subsequently Orekhovskaya Road. From here, turn right onto Bezvodnaya, which leads to the airport entrance.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus: Bus routes 11 and 20 run regularly from the airport into the city centre (journey time: 20-25 minutes; fare 20RUB) with bus 20 terminating at metro station Avtozavodskaya and bus 11 Ulitsa Druzhaev.

Taxi: Cabs are available outside Arrivals. The fare for the 15 minute trip into the city centre starts at around 500 Rubles.

Money:

A bank offering currency exchange is located on the ground floor, and ATMs are situated on both levels of the terminal.

Food:

There are several cafés offering drinks and snacks, both in the public and Departures areas.

Shopping:

Duty-free is available in Departures via CAPO Duty Free, selling more than 10,000 different products of international brands, including liquor, tobacco products, cosmetics, perfumes, jewellery, haberdashery, toys, and accessories. Other shops are also available primarily selling souvenirs, stationery and magazines and books.

Luggage:

Trolleys are provided, but left-luggage is not available.

Other:

Other facilities at Nizhny Novgorod International Airport include baby changing rooms, a children's play area, a pharmacy and a first aid facility. There is also an aviation museum located within the vicinity.

Conference and business:

There are no meeting facilities at the airport, however there are two VIP/business class lounges for departing passengers. For meeting and conference facilities, it is necessary to travel into the city.

Communication Facilities:

There is a post office within the terminal complex and paid-for Wi-Fi access is available.

Disabled facilities:

The airport is fully accessible for disabled passengers, with lifts and disabled toilet facilities. Designated parking is also available immediately opposite the terminal entrance. Any passenger who may require additional assistance are advised to contact their airline before travelling.

Car parking:

Long- and short-stay parking is available immediately outside the terminal.

Car rental:

Car hire companies Europcar and Paulz are represented at the airport, with desks located in Arrivals.
