Weather in Valencia

Generally, Valencia is a great place to visit all year round thanks to its mild Mediterranean weather. Due to its location by the sea, it is most crowded in summer as both Spaniards and foreign tourists flock to its shores. Other peak travel periods for Valencia are during festivals such as the Fallas in March, Benicassim Music Festival in July and la Tomatina in August. The best times to visit are late spring (May to June) and autumn (October to November) when the city is relatively free of crowds and temperatures are pleasant.
