Hotels in The Hague
As one would expect in a city of such worldwide status, there is a diverse selection of hotels in The Hague of all levels and prices. Scheveningen is also similarly well-endowed with accommodation, due to its popularity as a resort.
The hotels in The Hague listed below have been grouped into three pricing categories:
Luxury (over €170)
Moderate (€80 to €170)
Cheap (up to €80)
These prices are per double room per night. Breakfast and tax are extra.
Hilton The Hague
Opened in 2010, this is Hilton's first hotel in The Hague, located in the heart of the city on Zeestraat, close to all the central attractions and transport links. The hotel has 183 rooms, including deluxe accommodation and suites. It also offers a fitness room/gym, an elegant restaurant and a comfortable bar.
Park Hotel Den Haag
This lovely small-to-medium size, art deco-style hotel in The Hague blends modern and classical touches and is famous for its breakfast Garden Room with a view into the royal palace grounds; excellent central but quiet location and facilities, some of the rooms have a small garden terrace – the hotel's gardens are a special feature.
Steigenberger Kurhaus
This magnificent fin-de-siècle beachside hotel, once patronised by European monarchy, is a Scheveningen icon, with refined and modern comforts including a spa; do pop in for a look at its grand restaurant, a former late 19th-century concert hall with stained glass cupola. The building is nothing short of palatial, a real reminder of times now past.
Bilderberg Europa Hotel
In the northern fringe of Scheveningen, the Europa offers 174 rooms, overlooking the beach. Wi-Fi is available, as is a sauna, pool and gym, and the hotel is close to the main resort attractions. The hotel's restaurant, Mangerie OXO, features an interesting fusion of Californian and Oriental cuisine.
Hampshire Hotel
One of The Hague’s 4-star properties, this Novotel is located in the Haagse Passage historic shopping arcade, opposite the Binnenhof and close to all the major museums and shopping streets. Three standards of room are available. Interior design is true to the established Novotel style and standard.
Novotel Den Haag City Centre
One of The Hague’s 4-star properties, this Novotel is located in the Haagse Passage historic shopping arcade, opposite the Binnenhof and close to all the major museums and shopping streets. Three standards of room are available. Interior design is true to the established Novotel style and standard.
Badhotel Scheveningen
The unfortunate name (in English) is not indicative of the property's quality – it means 'spa hotel'. Located about 150m (492ft) from the beach, and close to attractions like the casino and the Circus Theatre, this hotel offers 90 rooms with Wi-Fi internet access, coffee and tea making equipment on request, and quiet surroundings.
Bed and Breakfast Art Déco
This house is a refreshing alternative to the often bland offering of cheap hotels. It is housed in a century old building in a quarter dominated by art deco and art nouveau buildings. It's small - it only accommodates five adults, but it's a different approach and gives a pleasant insight into the 'real' Hague
Hotel Ibis Den Haag Centre
Comfortable, modern chain hotel in the city centre with light airy rooms, an attractive designer-style bar and Wi-Fi access. Ibis hotels have a fixed formula the world over: clean modern and comfortable, but basic, with minimal communal facilities. Ideal for those on a budget looking for cheap hotels in The Hague.
