Hungary travel advice

Most visits are trouble free.

The next parliamentary election in Hungary will be held on 11 April 2010, with the second round on 25 April 2010. During the campaign period, mass rallies organised by various political parties are likely to take place.

There is a low threat from terrorism. But you should be aware of the global risk of indiscriminate terrorist attacks which could be in public areas, including in places frequented by expatriates and foreign travellers.
