Kiev Nightlife

Kiev's nightlife tends to be rather spread out but you could do worse than start an evening on Khreschatyk, which has the highest concentration of bars, bierkellers and cafés - many of which are open 24 hours. While garish casinos and strip clubs have become the norm, there is a diversity of good quality entertainment for night owls, from barge parties to underground jazz venues.

From classical music to avant-garde stage shows and rock concerts, the standard of Kiev's cultural entertainment is high, and often still cheap enough for most Ukrainians to enjoy. Listings and ticket information can be found online at www.whatson-kiev.com and www.olvia.com.ua.
