Best time to visit:

The best time to visit Kiev is between April and October, when temperatures are generally above freezing. From November to March, the city can be extremely cold and it can snow at anytime. The summer months can be hot, but rarely too hot for comfort, even in July and August. The succession of public holidays in early May can cause travel disruption, museum closures and booked up hotels, so avoid travelling then, if possible.
