Hotels in Malaga
There are plenty of hotels in Málaga to choose from, catering to every pocket. If your budget is tight and you want a cheap hotel in Málaga, avoid travelling to the city during the peak holiday season, such as Easter and during the summer and book hotels away from the city centre. The Málaga hotels below have been grouped into three different pricing categories:
Luxury (over €100)
Moderate (€60 to €100)
Cheap (under €60)
These prices are for a double room per night (and include all taxes). Breakfast is extra unless otherwise stated.
BH Atarazanas
Opposite Málaga's famous market in an old building, this central hotel has been stylishly modernised, retains plenty of local character and features a good restaurant.
Hotel Alameda
Clean, cheap and central, this hotel occupies the 8th floor of an apartment building and has obliging owners and free Wi-Fi.
Hotel Eurostars Astoria
A short walk west of the centre, near the Alameda train station, this compact modern place offers excellent value for money, sparkling cleanliness, and decent rooms, some looking over the River Guadalmedina.
Hotel Molina Lario
In the heart of things near the cathedral, this four-star choice offers good facilities and helpful staff to complement its large, inviting rooms. Best of all is the rooftop pool.
Parador de Gibralfaro
Atop a lofty crag next to the castle, this peaceful and attractive place offers stunning views over the bay and classy, comfortable rooms. The restaurant doesn't hit the same heights however.
Room Mate Larios
Right on the pedestrian strip in the heart of town, this recently rebranded hotel has a light and stylish contemporary feel, spacious comfortable rooms and a glorious roof terrace.
