The Manchester Comedy Festival returns for its 11th year in 2011 with a packed program of big-name acts as well as new talent. This year's line-up includes the biggest names in comedy, such as Peter Kay, Andy Parsons, Stephen Merchant, Brendon Burns and Richard Herring. The 10-day festival features everything from ghost walks to mind readers to burlesque, plus the very first Cofilmic Comedy Short Film Festival. Events will be put on at more venues than last year's record of 34, including The Comedy Store, the Frog & Bucket Comedy Club, Lass O’Gowrie and the Manchester Apollo.
