Nudist passenger strips off mid-flight
02 July 2009A plane flying from Charlotte to Los Angeles in the USA was forced to make an unscheduled landing yesterday after a passenger took off all his clothes.
Keith Wright, 50, allegedly disrobed at the rear of the aircraft, and became abusive when flight attendants on the US Airways flight tried to cover him with a blanket.
Two off-duty policemen helped crew subdue the determined nudist before the plane was diverted.
The handcuffed, "completely naked" man was then removed from the plane.
As the aircraft prepared for its second take off, the standard safety announcement included a "reminder to everybody to please keep your clothing on".
