Hurricane Wilma strengthens into Category Five storm

Hurricane Wilma, the 12th hurricane of the season to threaten the Caribbean and Florida coastline, has strengthened into a Category Five storm with winds of 150mph (240km/h).
Cuba, Mexico and the Cayman Islands have issued warnings in coastal areas. Florida is expected to be hit this weekend and vulnerable areas such as the Florida Keys island chain are preparing to evacuate.
Honduras and Nicaragua have also issued tropical storm warnings. One death has already been reported in Jamaica.
