Eurostar best rail service
(12 December 2007)The World Travel Awards have named Eurostar as the world's leading rail service.
A total of 167,000 travel professionals from all over the world voted for the awards, which aim to recognise outstanding achievement within the global travel industry.
Eurostar's achievements include becoming the world's first train operator to make all journeys carbon neutral at no additional cost to passengers. It is also now running from the restored St Pancras International and has brought high-speed rail to Britain.
