Through-fares for Eurostar

(20 December 2007)

Passengers departing from 68 destinations across Britain will now be able to buy through-fares to Paris and over 75 connecting stations in France and Belgium.

The announcement by Eurostar will mean that travellers can buy one ticket, taking them from their local rail station to their European destination. Towns and cities include Leeds, Leicester, Cambridge, York and Birmingham. Eurostar's website is linked with the ticket systems of UK operators such as Virgin Trains, First Capital Connect and National Express East Coast.

The range of through-fare stations in Britain will be extended during 2008, joined by places in Europe to provide easier inbound access.
