(13 October 2008)

A BA flight was forced to land after an electrical fault was detected in its in-flight entertainment system.

The Boeing 777 on route to Delhi from London Heathrow was diverted after a warning alarm sounded in the cockpit.

The pilot diverted the plane, carrying 222 passengers and 16 crew, to Schoenefeld airport, southeast of Berlin.

BA said the plane landed safely and that no-one was hurt.
