Fire at Berlin Tegel Airport

(20 November 2008)

A fire has broken out at Berlin Tegel Airport resulting in flights being diverted to Schoenefeld airport in the eastern part of the German capital.

The blaze started near the military section of the airport sending clouds of smoke into the sky.

There have been no reports of any injuries.
