Alitalia sale nearly complete

The Italian government has finally made a deal to sell its national carrier, Alitalia.

The airline's assets will be sold for €1.05 billion (including debt) to CAI Consortium once the deal is approved by the adminstrator overseeing the bankruptcy. This bid is higher than the initial offer, following months of negotiation.
