India steps up security at airports

Indian authorities have put three major airports on high alert after a threat of further attacks.

Extra checks are being carried out at airports in Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore.

The threat came from Deccan Mujahideen, a previously unknown group who has claimed responsibility for the attacks in Mumbai.

Passengers are being asked to arrive at the airport three hours before their flight, reports say.
