The arrival of the supermarket holiday
(09 January 2009)Aldi, the German budget supermarket chain, yesterday (8 January) launched its new holiday website, offering value deals to popular destinations.
Alditravel.co.uk will have new deals every two weeks, and promises that all of them with be 3-, 4- or 5-star standard.
Aldi Travel is already a successful venture in mainland Europe, where it caters for over 500,000 holidaymakers every year. All holidays are ABTA-protected and include Supplier Failure Cover.
Today, its best deals include a 3-star, half-board holiday to Ibiza from £34.50pppn and a 4-star, half-board trip to Benidorm for £37pppn.
