Bruce Lee museum to open in Hong Kong

(12 January 2009)

A home once belonging to martial arts legend Bruce Lee is to be turned into a museum.

The Hong Kong townhouse was donated to the city by its owner after an extended stint as a seedy love hotel where rooms could be hired by the hour.

The house where Lee died in mysterious circumstances will display weapons used by the actor in films and will contain a recreation of his study and training hall.

A spokesman said the museum would open as soon as possible but gave no specific timeframe.
