Aldi Travel is an immediate success

Aldi Travel, the supermarket chain's new budget holiday website, has proved a big hit with British holidaymakers since it was launched last week.

Hitwise, which collates internet data, has reported that Aldi Travel was the ninth most visited travel website on 8 January, the day of the discounted travel website's launch.
