Twilight fans to cruise with vampire film stars

Twilight fans will get the change to hang out with Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz (who play Alice and Emmett Cullen in the hit vampire film) on a cruise to the town where Twilight was shot.

The week-long Twilight fan cruise will set sail in August 2010 and will feature a trip to the town of Forks, Washington, and Seattle, where the film was shot, as well as guest appearances from stars of the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's bestselling books.

Linda Wolf of Cruises Cruises Cruises (CCC), which is organising the trip, said: "Our goal for this event is to integrate the magnificent beauty of Alaska with the immensely popular Twilight phenomenon. It's the best of both worlds, for sure."

The cost for fans willing to take up the offer is $1,049 (£633) exclusive of tax, plus a $150 registration fee for the convention. As well as a Q&A with the actors, the price also includes a welcome party, costume ball and screenings.

CCC's past theme cruises have included: Star Trek, The Fab Four (Beatles Tribute), Clowning at Sea and Barbie.
