New World Cup 2010 deals up for grabs
(13 November 2009)With less than a month to go until the official draw for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, travel agent Thomson Sport is launching two new packages for football fans eager to experience the event first hand.
After their initial range of packages swiftly sold out, Thomson Sport is offering travel packages for fans already holding World Cup 2010 tickets, and for those wanting to purchase match tickets, all including coach transfers, South African guides and accommodation in Cape Town.
Thomson Sport said in a statement: "The packages offer competitively priced options with accommodation in the cosmopolitan city of Cape Town, which in their opinion is the best city in South Africa for England supporters to base themselves."
The draw in Cape Town on 4 December will decide which teams play where in the beginning group stages.
The 2010 FIFA World Cup takes place from 11 June to 11 July next year in stadiums in Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, Pretoria, Port Elizabeth, Bloemforntein, Polokwane, Nelspruit and Rustenburg.
