Excellent old town bistro serving inventive French cooking that the locals would actually be seen eating in. Daily specials, friendly service and a great terrace for watching the world go by. Reservations are recommended as this place fills up quickly.
Chantecler
This Michelin award-winning restaurant is arguably the city's finest dining experience in one of its finest hotels. The Regency-style space is as spectacular as the food. Try the dessert of marbled hot chocolate swimming in an almond cream sauce.
La Petite Maison
This smart, upmarket eatery is a favourite with the local business community, who come to enjoy Provencale and Italian classics. The food is fresh and light, and the restaurant boasts an impressive array of wine and champagne. Elton John is rumoured to have dined here on more than one occasion.
La Trapa
The plat du jour at this tapas-style restaurant offers some of the best value in town, with no sacrificing on the quality of the ingredients.
