Things to do in Oxford
Boating or punting along the Cherwell or the Isis are popular activities in Oxford, not least since they give wonderful views of the parks and skyline. Salters Steamers Ltd has punts, pedalos and rowing boats for hire on the Isis, and, in addition, the company offers scheduled passenger boat services on the Thames, from Folly Bridge to Iffley Lock (20 minutes each way) and between Sandford and Abingdon (two hours each way).
