Marshall Islands duty free
The following items may be imported into the Marshall Islands by passengers without incurring customs duty:
• 600 cigarettes or 454g tobacco.
• 2L of alcoholic beverages (alcohol for passengers over 21 years of age only).
Banned imports:
Firearms, ammunition, drugs and pornographic materials are not permitted. Birds, animals, fruit and plants need certification from the Quarantine Division of the Ministry of Resources and Development.
Banned exports:
Coral, turtle shells and certain other natural resources cannot be exported. Any artefacts or objects of historical value cannot be taken out of the country.
