Paris Plage beach

The first and most famous urban beach, Paris Plage, is a huge success and an idea that is being copied around the world. For two months every summer, the man-made beach on the Seine is filled with sand, parasols and rosy bodies. There’s also a splash pool for the kids. Get your towel down early to nab a spot in high summer.
