Hotels in Phnom Penh
There is a good selection of hotels in Phnom Penh ranging from good value, budget guesthouses, through boutique hotels to ultra deluxe properties. Cheap hotels in Phnom Penh are available outside the peak season from November to March.
The Phnom Penh hotels below have been grouped into three pricing categories.

These hotel prices are the starting prices for a standard double room and include taxes and breakfast.
InterContinental Hotel
The first 5-star business hotel in Phnom Penh with 346 rooms, located in the new business centre of the city. It is an ideal place to stay for those on business as it has a range of meeting rooms available for guests. The good selection of restaurants offer pan-Asian, Western and Chinese cuisine as well as a popular patisserie.
Raffles Hotel Le Royal
This is a beautifully restored French colonial hotel featuring a blend of Khmer, art deco and French styles. Established in 1929, it boasts an impressive guest list in its heyday including Charlie Chaplin and Jacqueline Kennedy. This sophisticated Phnom Penh hotel has 208 rooms, five restaurants and bars, a pool and spa. The Raffles high standards of service are combined with modern comforts throughout this very grand property.
Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra
The newest deluxe hotel in Phnom Penh opened its doors at the end of 2010 and has a riverside location; all 201 rooms in this 12-storey property have views of either the Mekong or Bassac rivers. The hotel’s various restaurants serve French, Chinese, Italian and Japanese food.
Amanjaya Pancam
Located in a lovely old restored building opposite Wat Ounalom and with stunning views of the Tonle Sap River, this boutique hotel is intimate and chic with a stylish blend of contemporary and Khmer style. The 21 rooms all have rosewood furniture and wooden floors and each has a private balcony for people watching. The hotel's restaurant serves Western and Asian cuisine made more enjoyable by the bustling city views.
Hotel Cambodiana
This was the first international hotel to open in Phnom Penh once the country re-opened to visitors. The Hotel Cambodiana enjoys a superb location on the banks of the Mekong River and the large rooms all have picture windows with views over the river or across the city. It is ideally located for visits to the Royal Palace and National Museum and within walking distance of the bars and restaurants on Sisowath Quay.
Sunway Hotel
A longstanding favourite in the city, the Sunway Hotel has an excellent location in an upmarket part of Phnom Penh, close to Wat Phnom. The 138 rooms are all large and stylish, some with balconies. The restaurant serves local and international cuisine with special themed nights and there is a patisserie in the lobby. With its own fitness centre and spa, this hotel is a popular choice.
Juliana Hotel
This long-established, resort-style hotel is located at the heart of the city so a great base for exploration as most of the major sights are just a few minutes away. The 97 rooms are contemporary in design with Khmer silks and textiles accenting the décor throughout and the swimming pool is surrounded by lush gardens. The hotel's Vanda restaurant serves Asian and Western food and is particularly well known for its barbecued seafood buffet.
The Quay
A hideaway at the heart of the city in a superb location on the banks of the Tonle Sap River on Sisowath Quay. This is Phnom Penh's first carbon-friendly, boutique hotel with just 16 rooms. The hotel is modern, minimalist and stylish with a restaurant serving Asian fusion meals. Suites have terraces and sweeping views of the river but standard rooms do not have windows but have frosted glass to allow in light.
Villa Langka Hotel
This is a good value boutique hotel in lush tropical gardens in central Phnom Penh close to the Independence Monument and overlooking Wat Langka. Located in two converted houses, the 43 rooms are all spacious and colonial in style. The hotel's restaurant offers local and international cuisine using the freshest ingredients and served on the terrace or indoors.
