From central Porto, follow the 'Via Rapida' IC1/A28 motorway to the IC24/A41 junction (the airport is signposted).
Public Transport
Public transport rail:
Rail: The Metro Violet Line (tel: 0808 205 060; www.metrodoporto.pt) serves Porto Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, operating regular services from 0600-0130. The station is located just outside the terminal. The journey to the city centre takes about 30 minutes and a single fare is €1.40.
Public transport road:
Bus: There are regular bus connections (tel: 22 507 1000; www.stcp.pt) to the city centre. A single fare is €1.50. A long distance bus connection (tel: +34 986 288 030; www.autna.com) connects the airport with Vigo, in northwest Spain. The journey time is approximately 45 minutes and the fare is €12.
Taxi: Taxis are available daily 24 hours from outside Arrivals. A 20% surcharge is payable at weekends, on public holidays and between 2100 and 0600.
