Ekaterinburg Koltsovo Airport is situated in close proximity to the Trans-Siberian Highway and is signposted from Ekaterinburg city centre.

Public Transport

Public transport rail: 

Rail: The Koltsovo Express connects the airport directly to Ekaterinburg's central station. The journey time is around 40 minutes, and a single fare is руб40. When travelling from the airport, tickets should be purchased on the train.
 

Public transport road: 

Bus: Bus 1 links Koltsovo Railway Station, Ekaterinburg Koltsovo Airport and Ekaterinburg Central Railway Station. Services run from 0650-2300 (journey time: 40 minutes; fare: руб10). Intercity buses run regularly to Chelyabinsk and other major towns in the Sverdlovsk region.

Shuttle: Minibuses 26 and 39 link Ekaterinburg Koltsovo Airport with the city centre, and charge more than the regular bus. Services operate 0700-2200 (journey time: 30 minutes).

Taxi: There is a taxi service to the city centre and to neighbouring cities (tel: (343) 219 9000). The journey time into central Ekaterinburg is around 30 minutes, and fares start at around руб300.

There are numerous ATMs, two bureaux de change and a bank at Ekaterinburg Koltsovo Airport.

Car hire is available at Ekaterinburg Koltsovo Airport, but none of the international car hire companies have representation here. If you want to hire a car from one of these operators, it's best to do so through a local travel agency.
