Money & duty free for Saba
US Dollar (USD; symbol $) = 100 cents. Notes are in denominations of $100, 50, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1. Coins are in denominations of $1, and 50, 25, 10, 5 and 1 cents.
The US Dollar replaced The Netherlands Antilles Guilder or Florin as the currency of Saba on 1 January 2011.
MasterCard and Visa are accepted in larger establishments.
There are two ATMs in Saba. One is at the Royal Bank of Trinidad and Tobago in Windwardside; the other is at Windward Island Bank, located in The Bottom.
To avoid additional exchange rate charges, US Dollars are recommended.

There are no restrictions on the import or export of local or foreign currency.

Saba duty free
The following items may be imported into Saba by tourists over 15 years of age only, without incurring customs duty:
• 200 cigarettes or 50 cigars or 100 cigarillos or 250g tobacco.
• 2L of alcoholic beverages.
• Gifts to a value of ANG100.
Note: The import of leather goods from Haiti is prohibited. If total value of goods exceeds ANG500, a declaration should be made at customs and cleared at the freight department.
