Accommodation in Flaine is dominated by self-catering apartments, the original centre built in concrete Bauhaus-style blocks, with some prettier chalets found in Hameau-de-Flaine and larger new wooden chalets in the Montsoleil development. There are a few catered chalets and hotels in Flaine, but the choice is much more limited than the self-catered apartments on offer.
