There is an airport information desk (tel: 90 240 4704) on the arrivals level. There is also a passenger service office (tel: 97 180 9207). The Ibiza and Formentera Island Council operates a tourist information office on the Arrivals level (tel: 97 180 9118).

Driving directions: 

The main access road is the PM-801 (Ibiza-airport) motorway. An alternative route is the PM-803 (Ibiza-San José) motorway, taking the Km4 exit.

Public Transport

Public transport road: 

Bus: Ibizabus10 runs between the airport and Ibiza (journey time: 30 minutes). There is a bus information phone line (tel: 97 1340 412/382; ibizabus.com). The fare is €1.50.

Taxi: Radiotaxi (tel: 97 180 0080) offers taxi services to the centre of Ibiza (journey time: 20 minutes; fare: approximately €15) and to Playa d'en Bossa, San Antonio, Santa Eulària, San José and San Juan. The taxi rank is located next to the terminal.

Public transport water: 

Water: There are regular ferry crossings (www.balearia.ferries.org) from Ibiza to Formentera (journey time: 45 minutes). Further information on prices and schedules is available from the airport tourist information office.

Terminal facilities

Money: 

Facilities include ATMs, bureaux de change and banks.

Communication: 

There is also a post office in the Arrivals area.

Food: 

There are fast-food options, bars, restaurants and cafés.

Shopping: 

Shopping includes duty-free. Shops are mostly located on the first floor, before and after security.

Luggage: 

There are no left-luggage facilities at the airport. A lost property office is situated in Arrivals (tel: (971) 809 207).

Other: 

There is a first aid facility, as well as a pharmacy, chapel, travel agencies and desks for more than 20 tour operators.

Airport facilities

Conference and business: 

There are no conference or meeting facilities at the airport, but the island's larger hotels offer facilities; as does the Convention Centre in Santa Eulària.

Disabled facilities: 

The airport can be easily accessed by disabled passengers and is equipped with lifts, lowered pavements, adapted telephones and toilets. There are several dedicated spaces for disabled travellers in the airport car park. Taxis for disabled passengers are also available from Radio Taxi de San José (tel: 97 139 8340).

Car parking: 

There are almost 500 parking spaces at the airport. There is free parking for a maximum of 15 minutes at Zona Azul (Blue Zone) for pick-up and drop-off. Parking for longer periods is available at Parking P1; the first 30 minutes are free.

Car rental: 

Avis, Betacar Ibiza, Centauro, Hertz and Tui Cars (Ultramar Express) are all represented at the airport, with offices located on the Arrivals level.

Airport hotels

There are no hotels at Ibiza Airport, but there are many hotels nearby in Playa d’en Bossa, as well as chalets, apartments and bungalows. Reservations can be made through the various travel agencies at the airport.
