The majority of services by air are holiday charter flights from Europe, though scheduled international flights are also available from the UK and internal flights from Spanish mainland cities such as Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia.

The Spanish national airline is Iberia (IB) (www.iberia.com). Based on the Balearic island of Mallorca (Majorca), Spanair (JK) (www.spanair.com) is a scheduled carrier offering services to Spain and the rest of Europe.

Getting to Ibiza by boat

Main portsSan Antonio and Ibiza Town.Services operate to the Spanish mainland ports of Valencia, Barcelona and Denia (located between Alicante and Valencia). Journey time from Denia, the closest mainland port is 2 hours and 15 minutes to Ibiza Town by hydrofoil and 4 hours 30 minutes to San Antonio by car ferry.
