Tenerife South Airport is close to the TF1 motorway, which links Santa Cruz with the south of the island. It has its own dedicated exit from the motorway.
Public Transport
Public transport road:
Bus: Local buses (tel: (922) 531 300; www.titsa.com) leave regularly from outside Arrivals at Tenerife South Airport. Bus 111 links the airport with Santa Cruz (fare: €6.35) and Playa de las Américas (fare: €1.90); bus 343 serves Puerto de la Cruz and the island's North Airport; while bus 450 links Tenerife South Airport to Playa de las Américas and Granadilla.
Shuttle: Many tour operators include transfers in their packages. Shared shuttle services are also available.
Taxi: Taxis (tel: (922) 759 009) are available to Santa Cruz (approximate fare: €70), Playa de las Américas (approximate fare: €25) and other island destinations from in front of Arrivals.

There is a bank on the ground floor of the terminal building – ATMs are also available. There is a bureau de change in the airport lobby, opposite Arrivals.

Telephones are located within the terminal and there is an on-site post office.

There is a small selection of restaurants, bars, cafés and fast-food outlets both before and after security.
Shopping:
There is a bookshop/newsagents, gift shop and florist at Tenerife South Airport. Duty-free is also available for all passengers.
Luggage:
A lost property service is available at the information desk.

There are travel agencies, a chapel, a pharmacy and a 24-hour medical centre at Tenerife South Airport.
Airport facilities
Conference and business:
Two airport lounges, the Aena Lounge (tel: (922) 759 229) and the Teide Lounge (tel: (922) 759 230), provide meeting and conference space. There is a further Montaña Roja (tel: (922) 922 759 425) VIP lounge in the Departures area.
Disabled facilities:
The airport is wheelchair-accessible and there are lifts to take passengers to the upper level. Telephones, restaurants and toilets are all physically accessible, and facilities to assist disabled passengers from the aircraft to the terminal are available. Disabled travellers are advised to notify their airline of any special requirements at least 72 hours before departure.
Car parking:
There are more than 800 car parking spaces at Tenerife South Airport; parking is free for the first 15 minutes. Short- and long-term parking is situated just across the road from the terminal building, near the bus stops and taxi rank.

Car hire companies represented at Tenerife South Airport include: Avis, Europcar, Hertz and a number of local operators. Desks for these companies are located in the central hall.
