Where to stay in St Lucia

St Lucia has a range of accommodation to suit every taste and budget, from large luxury resorts hotels to self-catering apartments. All-inclusive holidays are very popular and the big hotels in St Lucia tend to be located to the North around Castries and Gros Islet. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle, head further south on the island, towards Soufrière, Vieux Fort and Choiseful for more low-key acommodation. Most hotels provide some form of entertainment in the evening, from calypso music to the ever-popular limbo dancing. A government tax of 8% and service charge of 10 to 15% are added to bills.
