Weather in Stockholm

Best time to visit

There’s not really a bad time to visit Stockholm – as with other major European capitals, its cultural life never sleeps – but it goes without saying that there’s plenty of seasonal variation where the climate’s concerned. The summer months are the most obvious time for a relaxed city break, with long evenings a particular boon, but there’s plenty to sell the city during the colder parts of the year too. Whenever you choose to come, it’s advisable to bring wet-weather clothing as a precaution.
