Flying to Taiwan

The national airline is China Airlines (CI) (website: www.china-airlines.com).

In March 2010, China Airlines launched the first non-stop flights to Taipei from London Heathrow, Terminal 4. The new service is operating three times a week.

Flight times:

From London to Taipei is approximately 15 hours, including stopover.

Departure tax:

None.

Getting to Taiwan by boat

Main portsKeelung and Kaohsiung (website: www.khb.gov.tw). Ferries run regularly between Keelung and Kaohsiung ports (Taiwan) and Okinawa (Japan). There are also sea links between Kaosiung and Macau.
