Weather in Toronto

Best time to visit

Peak tourist season in Toronto is June through to August, when the weather is at its balmiest and festival season is in full swing. During key events such as Pride Week and Caribana, the city is a hive of visitor activity and prices rise to reflect demand. The most pleasant time to visit tends to be during the shoulder season, when temperatures hover around 20°C (68°F) and you won’t have to queue at the big tourist attractions. If you’re prepared to brave the cold, snow and occasional transport disruption then winter in Toronto can also be magical, with Christmas markets, ice-skating and light displays in the streets.
