Lviv’s City Day celebrations include street theatre, jazz performances, folk dance and world music, in addition to a street parade-carnival with an emphasis on children’s activities.

Concerts, singing and theatrical performances are held in Kiev’s main square over two days, climaxing with a firework display at 2000 on the second night.
